Salutations amigos! After the minor disaster of my last project, I have started on a new one with my classmates, Raenan and Eryn.
For our project, we decided to go with a religious theme because it was something we all appreciated. We discussed what we could possibly do and concluded that we could do old stained glass window art of the 7 archangels. However, we each picked two people important in our lives to represent an angel, the seventh angel we all agreed to be Richburg. To go a bit more in dept, we wanted to show who the heroes or angels in our lives are, so in a way this is how we are showing gratitude and appreciation to them.

We split up the work in ways that we each got a role we are strong in. Eryn makes the composition and sketch work, Rae makes the halo and does the line work, while I do the coloring. So far we have been working well together and getting work done pretty quickly. I appreciate doing this type of group work because I know in the future I would have to collaborate with other people and it may not be so easy; however, this experience at least has prepared me for group work and how to get through obstacles together.
W.I.P.

The process has been very enjoyable so far. During the time I was waiting for my turn to color I have been helping with other's projects, so I have not been a sack of uselessness! C:
Thank you for reading!
Until next time, Adios!

I really love the concept of the piece, and how much time you all spent deciding the colors and what the imagery was going to be. I also appreciate each color scheme for each person. ALso how will it be displayed? Overall I cant wait to see how it turns out!
I am honestly in love with your concept and what you guys have so far. I am curious to know why you picked the color schemes you did? Also, do you guys plan to just print this out and display them? Would they be large and arranged like in the reference photo. Other than that I am so excited to see how everything come into play and how they will all turn out seeing everything all together. Good luck and I hope everything continues to go as smoothly as they seem. :)
The color scheme for each person is very well thought out, only thing I would worry about is the colors/portraits together because with as many colors this has, it may be a bit busy or conflicting. Maybe add similar undertones to each portrait, but overall this is a solid design.
I've really enjoyed working with you thus far. I like how you showed each of our steps and your progress with coloring so far. I know you've felt useless up until this point but you've been a great support. To answers Swans questions, after Mila is done with color blocking and doing minor shading it will go back to Eryn to give more depth and add the lines of the glass panels.
The colors you guys have chosen for all the archangels are truly beautiful. They’re both aesthetically pleasing, and coordinated to match the hues of the other color palettes. I also really like how you guys have divided up your work, because that means the audience will see all of your styles combined, which is going to be an amazing thing. I do have a question though: will you be shading the pieces as well? Or is Eryn or Raenan going to be helping out with that?
